Guided Tours
Here in the Aljarafe region, the vine has set down roots since the time of the Tartessians and Phoenicians; a tradition that has flourished through the centuries with vigour and distinction.
In 1682, a pivotal chapter in our history was written, forging a legacy that blends the legend of Roman Vergentum, the artistry of the Moors, and the splendour of Seville, which, following the discovery of the Americas, became a beacon to the world.
We invite you to journey through our 16th-century press house, home to the great Beam Press, the ‘Prensa de Viga, Husillo y Quintal’. Described by the poet Góngora as a “Sanctum Sanctorum”, it is now declared a Site of Cultural Interest and preserves the enduring heartbeat of centuries dedicated to the art of winemaking.
Today, the seventh generation of the Góngora family keeps this heritage alive, passionately sharing the spirit and essence of the winery. Every tour is an intimate and personal experience, led either by a member of the family or by those who are the custodians of our home’s very soul, where the spirit of family is present in every corner.
